James was born and raised in Old Orchard Beach, and since the age of 14 has worked in the family septic business. In 1991 with his brothers they became managing partners in Blow Bros. In 1997 Blow Bros. expanded into the solid waste market under the name BBI Waste Ind. After only one year BBI Waste grew by merging with BestWay disposal; creating a powerhouse liquid and solid waste company in Maine and New Hampshire with four locations. Two locations in New Hampshire, one in Belmont, one in Brentwood, one in Bangor, and the corporate headquarters in Old Orchard Beach Maine, where James was instrumental in running and growing the liquid waste division into the largest in Northern New England. The company was sold to Casella Waste in 2012 where James remained managing the liquid waste division for nine years.
After careful consideration James decided to leave corporate America and return to his family roots. In august of 2021 James, his wife Michelle, and his sons partnered with Derek Brichetto to purchase QuickDrain Services to bring family values and service back to the industry.

Derek was born in Portland, Maine, and grew up in the local area. He has accepted Maine as his forever home and wants to help his fellow Mainers with any septic issues that they may encounter. In 2002 Derek started at a young age working in the septic industry for Blow Bros. He was a dedicated, hard-working employee that was always eager to learn and engage in any new task the company encountered. He stayed with Blow Bros. until 2012, when the business was acquired by Casella Waste. Shortly thereafter, Derek decided to pursue his own interest.
With the help of Debbie Macdonald, and Macdonald excavation, they purchased sewer and drain cleaning equipment, and In 2014, Derek sat down with pen and paper and created the name and logo of Quick Drain Services, and so the journey began. With both his knowledge and abilities, he began building his passion for creating a great family owned business, where he could offer his customers a personal experience from a locally owned company.
In 2021 James and Derek partnered to purchase QuickDrain Services, with their combined vision, hard work, and dedication they will provide the best possible service for all their customers septic needs.
